There’s a reason why a lot of bloggers & online entrepreneurs fail to get a business up, running, and generating an income: –
A lot of bloggers base everything they do on a passion project. They do so without much – if any – consideration about whether there’s a demand for it.
’See, it comes down to a couple of fundamental things….
Your market has to serve a transformation. In other words, there has to be a pretty concrete outcome to what you do that your customers or prospective customers can see, feel and measure.
Underlying everything is a match between offer and market. You start with the market you serve and what they want… and you build the offers to match their demand.
*These 2 things are like the foundation of everything.
All else is just marketing mechanics: Landing pages, lead magnets, opt-ins, blogging – ALL OF IT…
‘Thing is; if what you’re doing is something that nobody cares about, then you’ll get very little interest and probably no customers.
As I stated earlier: A lot of bloggers base everything they do on a passion project without much – if any – consideration about whether there’s a demand for it.
Without the correct product or offer/market fit there is no business, no matter how much work you put in, how much effort you expend, what hours you work, and how much money you throw at it.
WITH a proven fit between offer and market, everything else becomes easy. All the mechanics are easier to test out because you’re not dealing with zeros.
People will opt in for and buy things that solve their problems.
– It really is that simple.
And, if you satisfy your offer/market fit before you earnestly start blogging, everything will be much easier because you’re starting from a live point and you’re hitting the ground running. Your blog will have a reason to exist from day one. You’ll know you can grow your list. And, more often than not, you will have made your first sale before you even do much actual blogging.
That’s exactly the reverse of what most blog owners do. – Which is why it works. 😉
